Question: Burning Calories - How much really can I lose!? Is this ok!?
Recently, I decided that I would tighten my stomach mucles while driving and then let it loose and keep repeating this procedure!. I decided to test a theory!. I ate a decent breakfast, then did 40,000 of these stomach tightening things while I drive!. I drive all day!. I do keep track of the numbers!. Anyway, I weighed myself right before doing this at 10am!. At 3pm, I went and wieghed myself again (same clothes on - same true weight scale)!. I lost exactly 2 pounds!. I tried this again the folloing day and again lost just a tad over 2 pounds!. I am eating sensibly through the day!. Is there harm in this form of excercise!? I thought the weight scale was broken!. But it really is fact!. I am male and was 263pounds on April 1-2008!. I am down now to 231 pounds!. This is what I have done to lose the weight and I cut out ALL caffiene, drink pop maybe once a week and only eat chocolate on Sundays!. I am not dieting!. I choose a lifestyle change!. Thats awesome!. It is similar to the movement you'd do in pilates/yoga (approximating your ASIS to your lowest rib) - or a mini-crunch!. Try and focus on the deeper musculature as well and other body parts to break it up (hamstrings/glutes/back/triceps/ets)!.

I do core stuff while sitting periodically - it works - and there is documented physiological benefit/evidence!.

2 pounds is a big drop!. 40,000 ab crunches could burn some calories, but maybe you lost some water!.

Take a look at a couple of pilates/yoga vids (not the instructors from outer space - but they have good things to say as well)!. I believe there is also a book at there for isometric execises while driving - maybe even a "yoga drive" book!.

If not write a book, on how you lost 50 pounds and 12 inches while driving!. Go on Oprah - sell your book!. Then go on Dr!. Phil - punch him in the face!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is alright!. personally, i have lost 90 lbs by jogging daily and cutting down on meals!. it took me about 10 months, but it has worked well!. Just don't take it to the extremes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

remember diet is 80% so i doubt your stomache tuck is doing much its probobly mostly your diet but anyways thats a lot of weight keep up the great workWww@Answer-Health@Com

Usually it is normal for a person's weight to fluctuate 2-5 lbs!. per DAY after excersise!. This is mostly due to the loss of fluids!. To lose 2 pounds of non fluidic weight, you would need to burn your BMR cals off, then burn an additional 7000 for the 2 pounds!. For an average grown man this is about 9000 calories total!. If we say that you ate the exact amount of calories to satisfy your BMR, you need to burn those other 7k calories off!. Thats the equivalent of a 180lb 6ft man running roughly 46 miles!. Keep in mind that the smaller the person, the more excersise you must do to burn off those calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
