Excercizing every other day - is it better than every day?!


Question: Excercizing every other day - is it better than every day!?
Some say that excercising should be at least every other day, so that muscles can rest!. Is it still ok to go 2 days in a row!? or lets say 5 days a week and then take 2 days off without excercising to rest!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you do low-impact aerobics (like walking) you can exercise everyday!. Weight training should only be done every two days as the muscles need about 48 hours to recover from strength training!. I like to jog one day for about 40 minutes, kick-box the next day for 30, go to the gym and workout for an hour (40 cardio, twenty weight training) walk the next day for 30, etc!.!.You get the picture!. And I do exercise everyday because when I take a break, I have a hard time getting back on track!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
