Is this a good meal replacement?!


Question: Is this a good meal replacement!?
I am a 17 year old male and weigh at 200 pounds!. I want to consume less calories to lose more weight!. I already have the exercise part down!.

I don't want to buy Slim Fast or any other meal replacement because that could be too expensive!.

I just make a banana milk shake with 1 banana and about 250mL of skim milk which is about 90 calories for the milk and maybe around 100 for the banana!.

It really depends on what your other meals consist of!.

If you're exercising and you hit the weights as part of it you really need a good protein intake, especially at your age!. You'll be fine cutting the carbs down a bit but raising the protein- sort of a calorie exchange!.

The long-term results will be more lean mass, which will help you burn fat even when you're just standing around or resting!.

You may want to check with a doc, too, just to be sure the diet is right for you!.

Just lowering the calories is not the way to lose weight!. You are missing essential vitamins!. Your body will believe it is starving and go into survival mode, retaining every calorie it gets!. Soy milk can have more sugar and calories than Skim depending on the brand!. Some flavor with sugar, some just with natural fruit juices!.

Soy milk has less hormones than Skim as it doesn't come from an animal!.

first of all go to the drs and get a check up to make sure you are in shape to be doing excerise and see the meal replacement!.
