How many of you who are trying to loose a great amonunt of weight miss trad. foo!

Question: How many of you who are trying to loose a great amonunt of weight miss trad!. foods in your diet!?
I am not Italian American, but I was raised around them and so pastas, meatballs, bread and all sorts of no-no foods, especially sauce round out the fare so I have to avoid this cuisine as much as possible or eat tiny portions!.

How many others find having to avoid traditional foods quite difficult!. I guess Japanese cusine is pretty much all right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can still have those things but you have to weigh and measure your portions!. Also, you could substitute whole grain pasta for the regular pasta at least it is a little better for you!. Do more of a marinara instead of a thick sauce!. I know it is not quite the same, but at least you can stil have a version of the taste you miss!. Use ground turkey to make meatballs, season them the same as you would ground meat!. You could also use turkey sausage both hot and sweet aren't bad at all!. Still you must remember your portion control!. If you do eat more than you should don't beat yourself up, just get right back on your meal plan and only have that meal once in awhile!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have lost about 95 pounds, and yes I miss all of the great, flavorful foods!. But, just because your dieting doesn't mean you can't have great food!. I love salsa and put on just about anything I want to spice up!. There are a lot of great recipes and you can still eat the pasta and meatballs, but just in moderation!. I really like weight watchers and their products!. Also, I substitute ground turkey for beef!. It doesn't tast really any different!. good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have a cheat meal planned one day a week!. This will give you something to look forward to while eating right through the week!.

I LOVE Lasagna, pizza, so once a week, usually on Sunday I have a cheat meal planned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
