WShat is a realistic time frame to loose about 60 pounds?

Hello Everyone :)

I a, nmaturally skinny (or atleast I was untill college started) and I use to be made fun of so badly usually for being so skinny. I went from wearing a childrens size 14, to a womans size 16 in the course of about 10 years. Keep in mind that I am very tall, almost 5'10. Now, I am ready to loose the weight ! :) I do not really want to be that skinny again.. but I definitely want ot be about a size 6-8 and still keep my curves and feminine figure. Can anyone suggest a meal plan and excercise plan for me please/ I am a pear shape, much thicker on the thighs but a smaller upper half for the part. What is also the realistic time frame for me to loose 60 pounds?

A realistic time frame to reach your goal would be 12 to 15 months.

As for a meal plan I would recomend keeping a diary of everything you eat for one week. Once you have done this go over it and see where there is room for improvement following these tips:
1) eat every 3 hours
2) drink eight glasses of water every day
3) make sure every meal includes protein fats and carbs
4) as you will be eating regularly keep the portions fairly small
5) include 2 serves of fruit and plenty of veg
6) make sure bread pasta etc is wholegrain
7) avoid soft drink, sweets, fried food and pastries

As far as exercise goes, find something you enjoy or think you might like and do that. It will be much easier to stick to a workout if it is something you enjoy. Aim to do something for at least 30 min every day.
