How vital is it that women should drink milk?!


Question: How vital is it that women should drink milk!?
I think that a good start to the day is to have some cereal with fruit and milk!.

The government always talk about 5 fruit and veg a day, but not so much about milk consumption!.

I thougt that calcium was vital for our bones, etc!., even though it is not as promoted by health experts, and so now I have milk every day!.

Sadly enough, there is not a strong enough correlation between milk and actually improving your bone density!. I'm not saying that milk is bad, but we get calcium from a number of other nutritious foods!.

In fact there has been studies that showed an inverse affect where womenwho consumed large amount of milk were at a greater risk of osteopriousis!. This study was not done on a large enough scale to be taken as stating it as a fact, but I found it very interesting!.

The truth government does want you to know: There is not enough evidence to support that milk is the optimal cource of calcium & prevents osteoporosis!. The reason for this may have something to do with that fact that Dairy Farmers are a government funded!.!.!.

I'm not going to get into the whole conspiracy theroy here, but what you do need to know about calcium and your bones is:

-Make sure that your eating nutritional foods that contain calcium!. Even if the item is fortified with calcium, remeber that your body can only absorb so much at once!.

-Remain active! Strength training is a great way to stimulate your body into building strong bones & actually absorbing the calcium that your taking in!. A nonactive body willn ot absorb as much calcium as someone who is active

-Really, the Milk!.!. does a body good, is all a product of marketing!. The theory is very transitive in thinking!. Milk has calcium, bones need calcium, good bones=good body!.!.!. so milk should do a body good!. But they fail to point out that you must remain active and strength train!. Plus, by the age of 30 your bones have become as strong as their going to get!. You can maintain, but after 30 you will slowly start to lose bone density!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I dont like the taste of milk so i take calcium pills, but milk is very important for women and their bones!.
