America Ferrera was blessed to be able to break into the acting industry with her curves!. She's beautiful and talented, and there are certainly other full-figured women who have made names for themselves in the entertainment world!. However, the industry overall favors thinner women!.

What you need to be most concerned about is being at a healthy weight for your height and body composition!. Carrying around extra weight can be detrimental to your knees, back, heart, etc!. There's a difference between full-figured and overweight!. See a doctor to determine which category you fit into, and discuss an appropriate workout plan to get the most out of your body!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

America Ferrera is not full figured!.!.!.she's NORMAL!! And I commend you if you want to be normal!. If you are normally thin!.!.!.that's ok, but killing yourself to get that way is crazy! Unfotunately in the world we live in these days, it's hard to get into the acting business if you aren't thin, but it's becoming more, and more acceptable!! Good luck honey, do your 20 min/day and maintain your sexy normalacy!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i don't think so!. I think that America Ferrera is a abousolute beautiful woman because of her realistic body!. I mean really who wants to hug a stick!.!.!.oh thats right if i wanted to do that i would go outside, pick up a stick and hug it!! lol, i think that your goal is amazing, realistic and if you are really a good actress, no one will care about what size you are!. I don't think it is a bad thing i think that it is a good thing!. good luck!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No it wouldn't because most actors who are full figured get most of the respect that skinny actors dont get on T!.V!. shows like the Parkers!. Like Nicky [Mo'Nique] she gets more respect on the show not like most of the skinny actors!. Like most of the skinny girls are known 2 be as mean girls!. But not Full-Figured ones but it doesn't matter whether ur full figured or not!. Because acting careers hire full-figured people and skinny people or in betweenWww@Answer-Health@Com

While skinny girls are all around us, I personally like a woman with curves!.

Plus sized women are starting to be more numerous in the entertainment industry!.

I don't think it's bad at all!.!.!. Unfortunately it just means you will have to prove your talent more than a skinny girl would !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would think that they should be happy with themselves - tons of people would kill to be thinner!. Plus, if they gained the weight, they might have to lose it again for an acting job!. Thinness has become not only attractive to the fashion industry, but to the movie industry as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think that is awesome that you arent thriving to be super thin liek the rest of the world!. i wish that i could be that comfortable with myself!.!. but as for the acting career i dont know if being thicker is the way to go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, never if you dont intend to be a comedianWww@Answer-Health@Com
