Push Up Question(s)?!

Question:

Push Up Question(s)?

Ok, I have a few questions. 1. When you do a push up, does your arm go straight up when you push your body? Or does it still bend slightly?
2. I'm 15 and weight 122 pounds, is 55 push ups good (in a row)? I've always wondered about the weight and push up ratio. Ok, one more and I'll stop. 3. Whenever I finish doing a push up my triceps aren't as visable as before I started. Is this my muscle tightening, and can I prevent it? Thanks for helping me on my quest for fitness.

Answers:

1. Your chest and biceps should be parallel to the ground when you lower yourself, don't straighten your arm completely when you come up.

2. Yes, that seems fine.

3. I read that Triceps are the hardest muscle to build and the most important. You need vigilance...don't give up! Be consistent and you'll get results.
