Answers:
Olive oil contains about 120 calories per tablespoon so your consuming 600 to 720 calories per day, just from olive oil!. On the surface, I'd say that yes, you're probably eating too much!.

The answer to your other questions is also "yes!." Olive oil can make you fat, simply from the standpoint that it contains so many calories!. The fact that olive oil is a "good" fat (monounsaturated) doesn't negate the high calories!.

When you count calories, you need to count ALL calories!.

Hello!.

The recommended intake for fats is 10-15% of your daily calories intake!. If you're taking in 2000kcal/day, your fat intake should consist of 200kcal/day - 300kcal/day!.

You should take olive oil consumption into consideration and add it up to your total calorie intake!.

You're doing the right thing by consuming your olive oil raw - without heating it up!. Olive oil provides you with monounsaturated fats which aids in fat burning!. However, you are taking way too much which will make you fat!.

Any/Every oil has 120kcal per teaspoon!. In your case, considering 6 tablespoons to be 12 teaspoons, you are taking in 120*12 = 1440kcal/day worth of fats!. Which is way over the daily recommended intake by 1100kcal!. Don't forget that you take in fats with other food you consume too!.

Decrease your olive oil intake gradually to a decent 1 -2 tablespoon a day over a 1 month period!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
