High Calorie Shakes, Weight Gainer, etc ?

Does Weight gainers, high calorie shakes, etc help you really put on weight? If so what are some great brands?

yea the key to gaining weight is to take in more calories than you burn. at one point i was trying to bulk up so i used alot of weight gainers since i have a high metabolism. now since i train in thai boxing i have to take it just to maintain my current weight.

i used an off brand(gnc) gainer and now using muscle tech to me it seems to be the same so i'd go with the cheaper brand. i perfer to get a gainer that is high in protein which is key to building muscle some gainers are high in sugar which would gain muscle but probably not the mass you're looking for.

also i recommend mixing a weight gainer in milk instead of water. to me it taste a little better, and it adds a lil more protein and calories(though im lactose intolerant).

good luck finding a descent tasting weight gainer though every one i've taken has made me gag, but after about a week you get use to the taste but its still not anything great.
