Working Out With Sore Muscles?!


Question: Working Out With Sore Muscles!?
Just started working out again after several years!. Did upper body on Tuesday!. Legs and Cardio yesterday!. The initial soreness from Tuesday's upper body workout is still killing me!. Wait out the soreness or continue upper body tonight with the soreness!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's always good to give your body a rest, it's recommended to do strength training 3-4 times a week and cardio 4-6 times a week!. Soreness though is a good thing! It means that you're working your muscles!. To relieve soreness try taking a nice hot bath, ice and rest!. Stretching is also a very import component to working out, stretching before and after workouts can help relieve the soreness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

workout tonight!. but don't try to do the same workout!. bring down the intensity, a lot!. by doing a few light sets of moderate intensity you will engorge the muscles with blood to help deliver nutrients and improve recovery!. you shouldnt be this sore still!. make sure you are sleeping and eating properly to encourage proper recovery and growth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are supposed to wait if your muscles are sore (at least hold off on the weight training!.) You could probably do some light cardio if you feel up to it though!. A good workout for me when my muscles are sore is to swim!. Swimming helps losten up my muscles too and also is a good workout in and of itself!. Next time ICE right after doing weights!.!.!. this should help minimize/eliminate soreness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you should get a trainer because you might not be doing everything right !. it also helps to take a hot bath and be sure to stretch after workouts!. but i think if you work your upper body without wieghts like push ups you are probably better offWww@Answer-Health@Com

YOU need to rest your muscles, working out everyday is not good even if you are doing cardio one day, weighs etc!. YOU will hurt your muscles and get burned out!. I agree meet with a trainer!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
