How much should i walk a day?!


Question: How much should i walk a day!?
I am 14 and my dad and I like to walk almost everyday!. About how much (minutes i guess!?) should i walk a day to reach my goal of about 10 pounds!?

One pound is 3500 calories!. You need to buy a calorie counter ( very inexpensive a few dollars) and wear it on your clothing as you walk!. Remember you have to walk at least 20 continuos minutes to burn calories!. You should not be able to carry a tune as you walk, if you can you are not walking fast enough! You would need to walk like that for about 18 days sraight or break it up to burn 10x3500=35000/2000=17!.5 Calories per day!.!.!.!. Or to help you could cut back on your calories and excersize to meet your goal faster!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should be running to lose ten pounds, or some other sort of cardio exercise!. walking is very good for you, and if you dont run its a good way to build up to higher levels of exercise, but if that all you do it may take a very long time to lose 10 pounds, and make sure you eat well! good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

The best way for you to go down 10 lbs would be to cut out about 100-200 calories a day plus walking about 45 min to hour a day!. It would take a couple of months to lose!. If you want to lose it faster then jog every other day or every day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, you don't really have to make an effort to walk!.!.!. just walking just to walk is boring!.!.!. join some kind of simple sports team and i'm sure you'll do lots of walking ithout having to set apart a certan time just to walk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Walking!? Phew! You could walk all day!. Walking is much less strenuous than just about any other exercise, so, simply put, do as much of it as you can handle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It should not be how much you should walk but how long!. If you walk about 45 min per day you can lose ten pounds in no time!. Just stay away from soda and other junk food!.
