Will this help me loose weight/fat??

BREAKFAST:
.coffee [with just a little milk and splenda]
.either:: oatmeal, cereal [special k;shredded wheat], or grits.
with maybe an apple or banana.

:snack between breakfast and lunch:
a chewy bar [90 calorie ones], or an apple.

LUNCH:
.another bowl of cereal, again special k or shredded wheat.
or
. skinless chicken breast

snacks:
. the 60 calorie pudding snacks.
or
. apple or banana.

DINNER:
. MAYBE another bowl of cereal.
or
. skinless chicken breast.

EXERCISE:
i workout mainly monday through friday. considering i am way too busy with friends on weekends.

monday wednesday and friday:
. freestyle swim for 45 minutes, doing laps.

tuesdays and thursdays:
. an hour-long kickboxing class


do you think i will loose weight if i keep this up?
that much cereal isn't bad for me is it?

and on weekends, i usually cheat. like eat out sometimes.
this isn't bad is it? i try to order the healthiest things.
it won't mess me up too much will it?

i'd like to add that i drink water basically all through the day.

but i also drink diet soda, and diet energy drinks.
[no calories]


so if your wondering, that is what i drink.

Answers:

You need to include more things in your diet. You are definitely lacking in the vegetable/fruit department, and you should also include more protein in your diet. Protein is the hardest for your body to burn and therefore kick starts your metabolism for the day. It sounds cheesey, but it is definitely true that you need to have 3 well balanced meals in the day which include all of the major food groups. As for "cheating" on the weekends, as long as you keep it in a degree of check which you say you're doing you should be fine. Also always remember that if you do go overboard once in a while don't just give up on yourself or anything, just start back where you left off.
