What are some good workouts for muscle toning?!


Question: What are some good workouts for muscle toning!?
I go to the gym, and have machines to work with, but don't necessarily want to use the machines if I don't need to!. I want to focus on my legs and arms!. Any suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lift weights!. Go for light weights and do lots of repetitions!. If you are trying to tone muscle rather than add to it, perform a high number of repetitions of lighter weights!. Aim for four or five sets of 15 to 20 reps!.

Use your own body weight as resistance!. Exercises like push ups, squats, lunges, tricep dips and pull ups use your own bodyweight to tone muscles!.

Try pilates or yoga!. Both disciplines are known for their muscle-toning abilities!. Those who regularly practice yoga and pilates find they develop long, lean muscles!.

Maintain a regular cardio schedule!. If you have extra fat, you won't ever see your toned muscles!. In order to lose pounds, you need to burn more calories than you consume!. Aim to cut some calories from your diet and burn more daily with regular cardio!.

Try cardio kickboxing!. All the punches, jabs, kicks and jumps are great for toning muscles and they don't add bulk!.

Stretch thoroughly after every workout!. Stretching protects against injuries and also elongates your muscles!. Regularly stretching can help guard against knotty, bulky muscles!.

pilates is the best though!.it will tone ur bod an make ur bod leaner,and more flexible!.i do it like 15 minutes a day in my room!.u'll need an exercise mat and video on pilates!.OR you could just watch the pilates movements for free in www!.youtube!.com so,i just watch the movements in the comp and i kinda memorise it so tht i dont have to go n start the comp evry time i want to do pilates!.i really really recomend it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Use the weights!. And do lunges for your legs!. Do calf raises too!. With the weights, do bicep curls!. Just watch everyone else in the gym!. But go slow, and do high reps and low weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
