Why won't my body lose the weight?!


Question: Why won't my body lose the weight!?
I'm fifteen years old and I'm five foot, and I weigh about 160 pounds!.I think I'm fat!.When I tell my friends I weigh 160, they are so surprised, they say I look nothing like it, but I think I do!.I have been over-weight since I was nine, and I really want to change that, and I love to work out; I'm in basketball, and track&field(I throw shot &jav!.), and when I'm not doing those sports I work out a lot!.I eat pretty healthy, but see the thing I don't understand is, my body won't let me lose the weight; my body always matains my weight(which is good in some ways), but I want it to change, I want to be around 115-120 pounds!.I've done everything I can for the longest time, and I'm really starting to lose confidence, I think I'm going to give up!.No one ever gives me a boost anymore, I'm all by myself!.I just really don't know what to do!.I wanted to get in shape over the summer and go back to school, in shape and be ready for sports!.Any ideas what I can do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Gabby, our mood affects the way we see ourselves in the mirror!. 5' 160 does sound a little on the heavy side but you may also carry a high amount of muscle mass!. Your body has probably adapted to the sports!. You need to introduce new exercise to jump start your metabolism!. If you can join a gym try cardio three times per week and weight training 2x per week!. If you are eating 1800-2000 calories per day spread over 6 meals and drinking enough water, the bodyfat will melt off!. If you are eating less, there is your problem, your body is in starvation mode and your metabolism is suffering for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

seriously, try tae bo!! It works!! You can find one of the work outs on youtube and I do it every night!. Each time I really sweat!Www@Answer-Health@Com
