Answers:
Definitely keep doing your yoga! You are strengthening muscles that don't usually get much attention, and by strengthening these small muscles, you will definitely reduce the risk of injury as your body begins to react more quickly when you "slip"!.
If you keep it up, you may be surprised to find out how much strength you've gained!. I don't lift weights, but am amazed at the strength I've gained from doing yoga for the past year!.

Yoga will also help with your stamina, as it helps get oxygen to parts of the body that are usually somewhat oxygen starved!. To help you not get winded so fast, I suggest you start running on a treadmill regularly, 30 minutes or more a day or at least every other day!. This will help build your cardio stamina, and increase the time you run as you gain stamina!.
Good luck to you, you're on the right track!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yoga is believed to reduce pain by helping the brain's pain center regulate the gate-controlling mechanism located in the spinal cord and the secretion of natural painkillers in the body!. Breathing exercises used in yoga can also reduce pain!. Because muscles tend to relax when you exhale, lengthening the time of exhalation can help produce relaxation and reduce tension!.Regular practice of asanas, pranayama and meditation can help such diverse ailments such as diabetes, blood pressure, digestive disorders, arthritis, arteriosclerosis, chronic fatigue, asthma, varicose veins and heart conditions!. Laboratory tests have proved the yogi's increased abilities of consciously controlling autonomic or involuntary functions, such as temperature, heartbeat and blood pressure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
