our bodies retain water because of many reasons!. we need water, considering our bodies are mostly water!. but sometimes things like too much sodium, not being hydrated, or even hormones can cause us to retain even more!. usually you'll get that bloated feeling, sometimes hands & legs (and even faces) will swell!.

usually cutting sodium and upping water intake is enough to get rid of it!. if its hormone related some pamprin helps wonders!.

if its happening all the time, there might be some sort of medical reason, like IBS or diabiets!.

but its naturual and it happens to everyone every now and then!. the bloating itself usually is nothing more than annoyingWww@Answer-Health@Com

It means your body holds a certain amount of water, and excess water too!. Once you get the excess off you'll drop some amount that which is left is your true weight!. Think of it like this, if you awake in the morning and hop on the scale you'd not be getting a true result because your body held onto water from the night before!. Water makes up 70-80% of our bodies, it weighs quite a bit!. It isn't necessarily good or bad, and it can happen because of a rapid change in diet and exercise, as the water fluctuates until stabilizing with your new lifestyle!. Your body is made up of about 80%!. When you get dehydrated or you exercise a bunch and sweat a lot, you excrete water!. Less water means less overall weight!.

But as soon as you start drinking water again, you gain the weight back!.
