Question:

Supressing my hunger at night?

my big problem when trying to lose weight is eating after supper. Out of boredom, i go for food. I understand the whole exercize thing, but sitting at night, i get bored and eat, even without being hungry. Help me find something that helps please!! Im willing to try anything...a pill, or be what it may. Thank you all.


Answers:

1. Baby Carrots - Sure, at first there good, and it is not bad to eat them. But after a few, they become very unappetizing, so it will cut your appetite. Other vegetables such as cucumber or pepper slices will work too, but don't use dips!

2. Popcorn - Popcorn is a healthy treat, but don't overdue it on the butter or the salt. You can have a lot and it is very filling.

3. Keep mints, gum or hard candies around. They control your urge to eat so long as you have something to suck or chew on.

4. WATER - Drinking lots of water will help suppress your appetite. I personally prefer flavored water, but it basically does the same thing.

Don't so much think of it as "not eating". Just eat consciencly. Instead of packing your mouth full of Doritos, stop and ask yourself if their is an equally healthy and appetizing alternative.
