Question: About how long do you think it will take for me to lose 70 pounds by doing all of this!?!?
Let's start out saying i am very overweight and i need to lose this weight!.
Here's my plan:
Diet: Eat 1500 calories a day!.!.!.of small portion,regular food!.
Absolutely no soda, junk food, or fast food!.!.!.except maybe once a month!.
Exercise: Workout to cardio at the gym 5x a week and do strenght training and abs 2x a week!.!.!.

Plateaus usually happen when you are very close to a healthy BMI, for example I was working out and I was 135 pounds my healthy BMI is between 120-140 so at 135 working out 7+ hours a week and dieting and eating absoloutly NO junk foods, fast foods, or 'diet' foods I lost about !.25 pounds every other week because my body is within its healthy BMI range!.

Now, since you say you are very overweight i will have to assume you are morbily obese or close to it!. The good news about this is if you do cut out what you say you will and work out 5 days a week you will see a reduction in pound and inches rather quickly!. Most people who start dieting who are labeled as 'morbily obese' can lose up to 7 pounds a week even if they are doing regular exercises and eating healthy, this is because with the body having so much extra weight on it, it has to work harder just to do anything so in return if you amp up to work outs and eating a strict diet excess weight in the first month will fall off!. I would say if you are this large you will easily lose at least 5 pounds a week, also it is recommended that you should only be able to lose 2 lbs a week if you are healthy but anybody who makes a huge lifestyle change like this at a larger weight will naturally and heathfully lose more in the first month while the body adjusts, so in the first month alone you could potentially lose 20 lbs after that I would say you will level out to about 2 lbs of weight loss a week and when you lose a total of about 50lbs of weight it will probably cut down to 1lbs a week until you hit a plateau!. This is all assuming of course you stick to your game plan exactly with few relapses!.

uh well it depends if you weigh a lot now!. if you are about 200 now- 70 pounds seems ideal!. but if you are 170- ( i really hope you arent) that isnt ideal at all- and that is way too far of a stretch!. work out at least 30 minutes a day- score for an hour or more!. and on your bad days- dont push yourself and do at least those 30 minutes- just at a slower pace and smaller resistance!.!.!. you should lose anywheres from 2-5 lbs a week!. avoid the scale except for that weekly check (warning- the first 2 or so weeks- you wont see too many results) +++ make sure you get all the water you need (8 glasses/ 2 liters) avoid weighing yourself during the time of the month- you wont have a happy day!.

it should take anywere from 35 weeks/about 9 months to 14 weeks/ about 4 monthsWww@Answer-Health@Com

A healthy way to figure out how many calories for how long:

http://www!.mypyramidtracker!.gov/

scroll down to the bottom and you can set up your profile and keep track of your progress!. You might need to play around with it to get the hang but I had to do it in for my nutrition class and it was actually pretty cool, especially the thing that lets you track your progress over time!.
Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you want to lose that weight it will mean NO MORE JUNK FOOD for at least 3-6 months so that your body gets used to healthy and low calorie diets!.

Your exercises are good, but if you want to speed things up add a sprinting routine: sprint your hardest until you can't no more and really try to push your self and repeat this about 5 times!. You will see major results I guarantee youWww@Answer-Health@Com

do abs every day it will speed up the process and eat little portion and eat more healthy snacks toughout the day and may be five little meals instead of three big meals if you do all of what you said and what is said you will lose it in six months but you will see progression in the frist week good luck to you say bye bye to the fatWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think your plan is good!.

But, you need to keep it in your mind that plan is just plan!.
Having a plan is not the same as doing action!.
If you do not translate your plan into action, no meaning!.
Even if someone says like "better than nothing"!.!.!.!.
I would say to you "Nothing is better!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

About 7-8 months!. In the beginning you might lose 15 pounds the 1st month, and towards the end you might lose less than 10 per month!. It'll probably even out to about 9-10 pounds per month!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have no idea but one thing I would say is give yourself one day to rest and try to not work out the same muscle groups two days in a row with the strength training (except for abs) Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
