Low body fat?!


Question:

Low body fat?

currently i have 12.2% body fat, is that ok for a women who works out twice a week or is that too low? could there be problems associated with it? I have a high metabolism and good genetics. I'm 5'4 and 115lbs.

thanks for the answers i think my body weight is ok sometimes thou i wish i had a lil more meat to grab but i guess i can work on that.

Oh my parents are both in great shape but i know my metabolism will slow down when i get older so i better have all the fun now!

hey smilefrown.. yea i actually had the calliper test done that is how i found out i was 12.2% body fat. Anyway thanks everyone.

This is a perectly healthy amount of fat for a woman. and you are at a very healthy weight.

Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
you are = 19.7

If you are uncomfortable at this weight you can change it. If people are telling you that you are too skinny, don't listen to them. As they are probably either jealous, or too used to looking at thier heavier bodies. :)
