I would tell her to drink lots of water and take a multivitamin and mineral supplement!. This will help give her energy and will hydrate her body!. (Help keep the water weight off!) Avoid high sodium foods!. She can also do isometric exercises, which consists of contracting muscles for a few seconds, then releasing them!. I imagine that she is getting more exercise than she realizes!. You have to do quite a bit of running about with a newborn!. Years ago, I read advice for those who have difficulty exercising: Stand instead of sitting, walk instead of standing, run lightly instead of walking, take stairs instead of running!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well one diet that I know people have had success with is the south beach diet!. It includes lots of fresh veggies and lean meats and some carbs!.they make a lot of great tasting snacks and meals to go along with it!. It works well because unlike most diets it is easier to keep the weight off in the end!. Low carb diets seem great at first but once you start eating the carbs again it seems people gain the weight back!. Personally I feel it is the healthiest!. Another diet that my friend was on was the nutrisystem diet!. She lost 20 pounds in 5 weeks and she loves it!. I dont know how healthy that food is though!. Make sure your drinking 100 ounces of water a day because you will loose weight much quicker!. Green tea also helps because it speeds up the metabolism!. Hope I helped and best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
