Question: How much weight do I have to lose I'm 16, 6'2, and 235lbs! Thank You!?
Answers:
You might not have to lose any depending on what your frame is or what your goals are- is it to run a mile, play linebacker, or something else athletic wise, or is it just for looks!? It's impossible to know just by the question you asked, though!.!.

Unless you've got a rail thin frame and you're just carrying a ton of extra weight, I can almost guarantee you that 50 pounds is way too much, however!. Better to focus on lifting/cardio (2-3 hours a week is enough) so you may get a lighter or stay the same weight, or even gain (you're not done growing yet), but you'll wear it better and be much healthier than if you lost weight solely by dieting!. There is no shortcut- the physical activity is the key!.

As long as you're at least moderately active, your height/weight combination doesn't put you at any higher risk of anything!. If you're lazy though, you will be!. As I said- the activity's the key! Also, focus on how you genuinely feel and don't let the scale dictate that!. If you've been working your tail off, you're still getting bigtime benefits from that no matter what your weight is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are 50 pounds heavier than a healthy weight for your height!. You need to make some definite changes in your habits if you will ever keep to a weight for a long and healthy life!.

Your weight is mostly a reflection of the effect of your habits over a period of time!. If you have healthy exercise and eating habits you will most likely also have a healthy weight!.

Why would we not all have healthy habits!? We either have not been taught what they are, or we prefer to make choices without considering our health!.

So how to lose weight is one thing, how to attain and maintain a healthy weight is another, larger, more important, and more difficult skill!. It starts with having a goal: "I want to have the healthiest body I can have, and I am dedicated to what it takes to do it!." That's a mouthful, but it is from where you need to start!.

First step is to define where you are, where you are going, and your progress getting there, just like going on a trip!.

Take a calendar and on your chosen day of the week to check your progress, mark your weight, waist, and thigh measurements!. Do this every week on this same day so that you will see evidence of your progress and stay motivated!.

Drink between 3 and 4 liters of water everyday!. Work out a way of keeping track of it!. I use 500 ml glasses, and I drink two each morning and two each evening!. It is easy to remember that way!.

For exercise you need to find an athletic activity that you really enjoy that you can do by yourself, such as skating, biking, running, or even calisthenics such as pushups, situps, pullups, knee bends and skipping rope!. As long as you find some reason that you really enjoy it, you will keep doing it every day!.

Control your eating impulses so that you only eat foods that help you to reach your goal!.

Take your picture once a month and write the date on each one and hang them near a mirror!. When you think of anything that you want to buy for yourself, link it to the next step on the way to your goal, and say: "I will buy this on the day that I weigh xx kgs!." Then reward yourself on that day for your discipline and progress!. Only pick meaningful goal steps!. If they are too big you might quit, too small and you are only fooling yourself!.

When you have done this you will have conquered one of the most important life management skills you can ever learn!. This same technique will help you to reach many such important goals that you choose for yourself during your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
