Answers:
It kinda sounds like you calculated it out wrong because that sounds like a lot for someone who weighs 118 pounds! No you are far from fat if you weigh 118 and you are 19!.
You are not fat by far!.!. your body fat percentage just means that you have more body fat than muscle!. You just need to work out !.!.!. walk alot !.!.!. key word is exercise!!! weight lifting to get your muscles a little bigger and then that percentage will go down after a few months!.!.!. you could starve yourself and that number would not go down!.!.!.!. so dont go getting on some big diet or watching what you eat!.!.!.!. you just need to do things that help you gain muscle!.!.!. when i was a freshman in highschool i weighed like 120 and my body fat percentage was 19 and the teacher said that it was suppose to be between 19 -24 for teen girls!.!.!.
You just need some muscle girl!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you calculated the % incorrectly!. Unless you actually got caliper testing (where they pinch your skin with special calibers) or did tank testing, its unlike you got a true body fat % test!. Most of the calculations out there are for BMI or body mass index!. They are often very similar though not always as it is possible to have a lot of muscle and be very lean, just look heavier on paper!.

Based on your height and weight, your body mass index is only 20%!. If anything, this is on the low side!. For adult women, the ideal BMI is 21-24%!. I think you are probably fine at 20% right now but I wouldn't lose any weight!.

And just in case someone else has difficulty reading like the above poster-I did NOT say that body fat % and body mass index were the same!. The reality is that in the nonathlete, they are frequently similar from a numbers perspective!. As I suggested, the only way to get a real body % percentage test is through calibers or, most accurately, the water tank!. And again, the reality is that for the general population (ie most noncompetitive athletes) BMI will give sufficiently accurate information to comment on the relative health of an individual!.

For a woman, it is highly unadvisable to go below 18% BMI or body fat!. The reason for this is that your body requires a certain amount of fat to be able to produce the sex hormone, estrogen!. Estrogen plays a major role in the laying down of bone in the teens through the late twenties and insufficient amounts can lead to premature osteperosis as is seen in individuals with anorexia nervosa!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your body fat percentage = the percentage of your total body weight that comes from fat!.

Unless you have virtually no muscle on you, I doubt you are 32% body fat at only 54kg and 5ft6!. Just bear in mind online body fat calculators can be way off!. It is best to have a professional body fat test done by DXEA/hydrostatic weighing or use body fat callipers such as Accu-Measure to test your body fat at home (which can be purchased from Ebay)!.
