I eat 10-12 eggs every morning, is this bad?!


Question: I eat 10-12 eggs every morning, is this bad!?
I basically eat till I'm full, and it's usually 10 eggs, sometimes 12 (eat them with brown bread)!. I head out to work then it's straight to the gym to lift some weights!. At home, I jump rope, and hit the sand bag!. I usually eat brown rice with sole fish for lunch and dinner, and devour any fruit I can get my hands on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whole eggs are fine, eat as many as you want!. I have gone up to eating 2 - 3 dozen eggs a day for months at a time and my cholesterol DROPPED!.

The thing about the cholesterol in eggs is that it is GOOD cholesterol, not bad cholesterol!. Studies done way back when concerning the amount of cholesterol in eggs only measured the total cholesterol in the egg, not listing what kind it was!.

Eggs are an important source of protein, and contain essential vitamins and minerals and can make a significant contribution to a healthy diet!. But I would definitely not recommended eating 10 eggs a day!. A couple of eggs a day are OK!. I eat about 2 to 3 eggs every other day, usually hard boiled in a mixed greens or spinach salad with apple cider vinegar and flax oil dressing!. Besides cholesterol, eggs contain a fair amount of sulphur, which is acid forming and will effect your body's ph!. Being too acidic is hard on the liver and kidneys and also causes inflammation of the muscle tissue and joints, which equals pain!. Since you're working out and lifting weights, your body is already producing high levels of lactic acid!. I would recommend eating other sources of alkalizing, high protein foods such as raw almonds, whey, and spirulina to neutralize the high levels of acid in your system!. I would also recommend eating more alkalizing, nutrient rich greens like baby spinach and mixed greens!. Cantaloupe and Watermelon is also very alkalizing!.
It's also very important to drink lots of water!. (minimum 8-10 glasses a day) Avoid coffee, dark teas, pop, other carbonated drinks, and sports drinks!. Believe it or not but sports drinks are very acidic!. I only drink water with lemon, ph booster and stevia!. Lemons are acid but have an alkalizing effect on the body, due to their high ash content!.
I also drink green tea with ginger and stevia, or skim milk in moderation!. Like you I work-out regularly, and I always thought I was pretty healthy, until I tested my ph!. You can work out all you want, but the key to a healthy life style is diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One egg has around 70% of the cholesterol you need, so yes, it is bad for you!. Stick to one egg maybe every other morning and find other foods that will fill you up!. Try something with a lot of fiber (oatmeal, granola, fruit, whole-wheat pancakes) and eat it slowly - perhaps while reading the paper or watching TV!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would say that is an abnormally high number of eggs and I would be worried about cholesterol levels!. However, if you are exercising an awful lot (especially strength training) you might be craving protein and thus feeling you need so many eggs!.

Check with a nutritionist to be sure, but I think I can safely say that 10-12 eggs is too many to eat in one day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're going for the protein but still want "yellow eggs" separate them for the albumin and eat only a few yolks!. Aren't a dozen eggs a day a bit expensive!? The protein comes from the albumin,not the yolk!. There are many other protein foods out there besides eggs; even the powdered protein is better than that and cheaper in the log run!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

12 eggs is horrible for you, unless your a body builder!.
If you have good cholestoral, you can have up to I THINK 7 eggs a week!.

But since your working out, it can't be too bad!.
But if I were you, I'd stick to 2 eggs every morning with a bagel or toast or something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

eggs do work for ya muscle training but eggs are high in cholestrol and ya don't wanna end up with a cholestrol problem coz its gonna effect ya weight and those other sports that ya do!.!.!.ya sound healthy to me,don't throw that all away!.!.
