How Do I Drop 10 Pounds Fairly Quickly... In a Healthy Way.?!

Question:

How Do I Drop 10 Pounds Fairly Quickly... In a Healthy Way.?

I'm a ballerina... I want that beautiful long and lean body. I'm 4'10" and I weigh 108. My legs are longer than my torso (but im fairly equal torso and leg length). I don't want big calf muscles, they have to be long and lean. And I want to trim on my waist. I drink only water and i'm a vegetarian... what else can I do?

Answers:

The short answer is to excercise more. As others have suggested here, cardio of sorts is most definitely the way to go, particularly given that you want long and lean muscle mass. Weight training can also help without bulking up your calves or anything else; the key to weight training and ensuring you don't bulk up is to keep the weight low and the reps high.

For example, a guy who wants to bulk up his biceps might do 10 reps and 3 sets of bicep curls with as much weight as he can possibly handle for those sets and reps. Aside from eating properly, you could do the same bicep curl (just an example) but if you wanted lean, toned muscles, you'd more likely do 15 reps and 4 or 5 sets.

Cardio could include anything from brisk walking to jogging to biking to blading...stationary bike, treadmill, etc....at a good pace and for at least 30 minutes, minimum 3 times/week but not more than 5 times/week.

That's it!!

Oh, and by the way, the guy who suggested as an answer for you to go to a website...he copied and pasted it wrong. It should be: http://weight-loss-guide.com

With all due respect to that website, I'd stay away from it as it's chalk full of diet pill ads and the like...which is no way for an athlete as yourself to lose weight.

good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)I
