Would it be ok if i substitute fat free milk for low fat butter milk when making!

Question:

Would it be ok if i substitute fat free milk for low fat butter milk when making banana nut bread?

i personally have been drinking non fat milk since about a month ago, and i've gotten used to the taste to where i can't taste the difference where others can, i was just wondering if it would mess up the recipe it says use 1/3 c lowfat buttermilk could i use nonfat milk to substitute and if so is 1/3 c good enough or do i have to put more. thanks it also calls for.. 1c mashed ripe banana, 1/2c brown sugar, 1/4 c margarine, 1 egg, 2 c sifted all purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 c nuts.. it is a healthy version. also if i do use nonfat milk should i up any of these other ingredients nuts.bananas. etc.

Answers:

i think low fat buttermik is more richer so you will see a very slight difference in taste, but of course its not the main ingredient so i dont think it would affect the recipe much.
