Hey a fellow person from Indy!!!

Yea that is a bit too much!. I go to Bally's off of 38th street and only pay 17-19 a month!. 73 is crazy!. I was thinking of switching to cardinal fitness also! Either that or Lifetime fitness but that's post to be pretty expensive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Olive, $73 a month is pretty high UNLESS a) you can afford it, b) it gives you everything that you want in a gym and c) it's convenient!.

If all you're looking for is a place to go in and sweat for awhile, then there are much cheaper alternatives that offer good service, good equipment and sometimes, well-trained staff who can provide good information and help with your workouts!.

If, on the other hand, you want something more - such as a lounge area, TV & music systems for the cardio area, and other creature comforts, then you might want to shop around a bit before making your final decision!.

I belong to the YMCA and a year or so ago, took out what's called a "Membership Plus"!. It gives you access to a private mens' locker room that has both a private hotub and steam room in the shower area so guys can grab a quick shower and then either get into the tub or go into the steam room!. It also a nice lounge area with a big screen TV, big leather sofas, regular newspapers, a coffee machine, and other stuff including free toiletries!. It's about $25 a month more than the regular membership, BUT at the Y, the extra money for the increased membership goes to support people who can't afford a regular membership - almost like a scholarship program!. So, if you have a Y nearby, you might want to check that out too!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That sounds high to me!. They have a gym near my home which is opens 24 hours a day!. The price ranges from a single of $39!.99 a month, joint $49!.99, and a family for $59!.99!. I wouldn't pay that much personally but if you feel more comfortable going there, then go for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on the gymnasium, if you think it's a good clean gymnasium then go for it!.
But if it's cramped in there then there's no point!.
Over here they charge for a decent gym 2500$ for three months for a decent gym, lucky you!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds about the average cost!. Depends really where you live!? I love working out at home gyms anymore are like a meatmarket men always hitting on you and wanting your number!.!.!.I hired a personal trainer and I'm happy with my choice !.!.!.!. good luck to youWww@Answer-Health@Com

its a lot if it's just a "gym" with machines/weights!.!. But if it comes with pool, sauna, hot tub, sports gym, track ect!.!. it's worth it!. If it's a basic gym, that's a rip offWww@Answer-Health@Com

That's highway robbery, not even the YMCA charges that much!.

Speaking of the Y-

Is there a YMCA close to you!? They offer pretty much what you would find at a regular gym!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i got a membership to the powerhouse for $45 bucks!.

Yeah i'd say that's a lot!. Since you're in school or something you might apply for a discount!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Somewhere in between is right!. Is the $79 including personal training assistance!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
