Ways to get extra protein?!


Question: Ways to get extra protein!?
I need a way to get extra protein, if you can't tell from the title!.!.!. I'm sometimes tend to shake because of my lack of protein intake, or so my mom says!. Any help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've never heard of getting shaky from too little protein!. Shakes and dizziness are usually associated to low blood sugar which is quickly rectified by eating naturally sweet fruits like oranges and bananas or drinking naturally sweet fruit juices!. I strongly urge you to get some blood work done to see how everything is operating on the inside!.

However, you did ask a reasonable question and so it deserves a reasonable answer!. Yet before I answer, consider this!. You only need 0!.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight or 0!.36 grams of protein per pound of body weight!. You can measure the amount of protein you are consuming by purchasing a food counter book at a book store, or by doing some research online!.

Protein sources depend on what kind of eater you are!. Are you a vegan, vegetarian, or meat eater!?

I am a vegan (meaning I don't eat fish, dairy, eggs, chicken or meats) and derive the bulk of my protein from the following sources:

sesame and pumpkin seeds with a small amount of peanuts or other nuts thrown in (I have no nut allergies)

Soy Based Foods (tofu, soy milk, soy protein shakes, soy burgers, veggie dogs, veggie bacon, veggie hamburger, etc!.)

TVP (textured vegetable protein); you can buy it at the Bulk Barn or any health food store

beans and legumes (most nuts are legumes)

whole grain sprouts and whole grain sprouted breads made with absolutely no flour (I don't eat grains at all)

nutritional yeast
