No fat--hmmm!.!.!.!.!.that's tough on the protein side!. Pick up some vegan cookbooks--that should help, but in the meantime here are a couple ideas!.

Breakfast--try Quaker Simple Harvest instant oatmeal and add some raisins or dried cranberries to it!. (if you can digest nuts, add some for protein, otherwise maybe get a good protein powder)

Lunch--veggie burger (I like Boca Burgers) done in a frying pan, I'm not into the microwave thing!. Put it on a whole grain toast with mustard and lettuce!. Have some veggie sticks with it!.

Dinner--You could do a veggie stir fry and throw in some extra firm tofu for protein!. I'm not huge on tofu, but I have found that extra firm is a good texture and done in the right sauce it doesn't taste like much--just gets me a protein boost!. Put it over brown or wild rice!.

If you can have lean meats then I would suggest white fish like mahi mahi, red snapper, cod, etc!. They are white fillets and are very low in fat!. They would get you protein, cook quickly, and are mild to the taste!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Did your doctor give you some dietary guidelines!? If not, shame on your doctor! A low fat diet usually means that your diet should not have more than 30% of the calories consumed being from fat!. Look at food labels for the calorie percentage from fat and stay away from foods that have a high percentage!. You will need to stay away from fried foods, adding butter or shortening to your cooked meals, and avoiding some cuts of meat high in fat like bacon and ham!. You can enjoy some foods that are labeled "reduced fat" or "low-fat" but again, check your label percentage of calories from fat!. Ideas: granola with low fat yogurt and fruit for breakfast, veggie subway san lunch, and grilled chicken with salad and raw veggies for dinner!. You can still enjoy a lot of the foods you love, just modify them for the low fat diet!. Buy 1% or skim milk, low fat options in margarine & salad dressing, look for leaner cuts of meat, and watch the sweets as the calories from fat are usually high!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sorry bout the operations and i hope your feeling ok

this depends on how long your going to ahve to go without fats main thing is drink more, especially water

breakfast - cerials with the lowest fat milk you can find, if you cant have ANY fats then eat cerials dry cos milk will have fat in it!. shreaded wheat is a gd 1 not sure about country differance but in england it has the big advert going on about how its just wheat

lunch - bread is normaly ok and you could use jam or something instead of the usual ham or cheese also dont use butter (made of milk)

dinner- same as other 2 meals really its fine for you to eat the same meal twice!. or you could have pasta you dont need sauces but a basic tomato sauce should also be free of fats

overall try and eat fruits and vegetables instead of meats!. and make sure things that are being cooked dont use anything with fats in, in the middle of cooking!.

hope this helps and hope you okWww@Answer-Health@Com

I need more information!.
What infection could cause them to take out your pancreas!?
To stay away from fat means a gall bladder issue!. IF you stay away from fats you could become deficient in the fat soluble vitamins A E D & K and they lead to a whole host of other problems!.

There MUST be another alternative! Why did they take half of your stomach!?

NO FATS:
no meats, no fish, no flax, no walnuts, no almonds, no cashews, no milk, no avocados, no butter, no oil

So it looks as though you're going on a raw food diet! All fruits & veggies!. I'm really concerned about your Omega 3's!. Does he just have you on no fat for a time or no fat indefinately!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oatmeal with some fruit is good for breakfast!.
For lunch you could have a veggie sandwich on pita bread, use fat free mayo, or mustard, or both!.!.!.lol!.
Dinner is harder to me, because it's my bigger meal of the day and I'm sure has a lot of fat!. But steamed veggies are always good!. Chicken breasts, Turkey breasts, lean meats, garden salads, baked potato with potato buds!. I think no matter what you are going to get some fat, but you can cut almost all of it out!. Good luck with your surgery!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to talk to the dietitian at the hospitals where you are having these surgeries!. They will be able to help you the most after looking all the different medical issues going on!. No pancreas means no insulin production so you have more problems then just a low fat diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
