Question: If People Say When You Don't Eat, You Put On Weight!.!.!?
How does anorexic people become like that!? How do you other people in general get like that from not eating!.

I see people saying this all the time, I find it very flawed just because of the fact that I SEE it happening!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Many people think that since your metabolism slows when you starve yourself, ultimately you can't lose weight that way!. These people are mistaken though!.
Since anorexics are constantly on a starvation diet, they lose weight despite what their metabolism is because they are constantly burning more than they eat!.
I also think that many people say you can't lose weight by not eating because they want to feel better about their eating habits!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is true up until a POINT!

When you dont eat, the body reacts by storing MORE energy at the times when you do eat!. Because we have to eat at some time or another, so when we do eat the body will store lets say 40% of the energy as oppose to 20% (these are just random numbers to give you an idea)!. And as we know, energy is stored as fat!. Because of the extra fat been sotred, you GAIN weight!.

But!.!.!.

With anorexic people (who eat so little for so long), they eat So little that the body actually needs more energy just to run that is possibly been stored!. Therefore all the stored energy is been used by the body AND MORE, meaning the body effectively starts to eat itself and you hence, lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, when they say you gain weight, that is true!. By not eating, you will significantly lose muscle!. But, the muscle is needed to burn fat!. So, you will end up getting fatter and less muscle!. An optimal diet involves eating 6 light meals a day!. This way you can keep your metabolism going, burning more fat and feeding your muscles and other body functions!.

Now for the anorexic people, that is an extreme!. Obviously if you starve yourself for a period of time that is that long, you will lose weight!. But all kinds of weight, (muscle, fat, water, etc!.) !. Its just unhealthy!. Your body is made to work off of food and water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

People try to restrict for like a week or 2, lose 10 pounds from it, eat normally, then gain it all back because it was just water weight they lost!.

Anorexics do that for months and years, then there body goes into starvation and eats all their fat to use as food basically!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i guess your right
BUT it takes awhile and
youll end up fatter, just cause your body utilizes what muscle you have for energy
then when you have no muscle left
it has nothing so it turns to your fat
thats why people get really skinny but it takes like forever
the first results are you get fatter since you have no muscle and it turns to fat
then after awhile you body eats the fat

when you don't eat it just lowers your metabolism!. metabolism is what burns fat!. when that gets lowered to a certain point it will take any tiny bit of food you eat and send it right to your ***!. but starvation mode takes longer than people think but it happens to many super models!. look at tyra banks!. sure not eating makes you lose weight!. but it's soo bad for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
