Hi!.Im in search of immediate help!. I am currently 13 years old and weigh in at 263 lbs!. I am very upset over the way i look!. I hang out with all the skinny popular girls and guys and i just feel i dont fit in!. I need help befor school starts again!. i was hoping to lose about 20 lbs befor August 27!. Please help me!. I cant live this way anymore!. Being this weight at this age is horrible!. Soon i may end up with diabetes!. I may even die at a young age!. I wanna be more than just a pretty face!. I was just a teensy bit more than you at my highest weight!. So far, I have lost 27!.5 pounds!. How have I done it!? I've used sparkpeople!.com to not only track my food, but I use it to track my calories I burn!. It's very helpful to track your food and exercise because a lot of people don't realize that a handful of chips here and a little piece of chocolate there really add up if you're not careful!. I would also consult a doctor about whether you can safely exercise at your weight!. One problem obese exercisers deal with is knee and back pain!. As far as exercising, find a plan and stick with it!. I do strength training every other day with a pair of five pound dumbbells and a stability ball!. This takes about 15-20 minutes!. I then do a mile on my Gazelle(another 15 minutes)!. After that, I do about 15-20 minutes of a work-out video(my favorite right now is Cardio Belly Dancing!.) For the days I don't do strength training, I walk or run a mile!. One of the advantages obese people have is that burning calories is easier the more you weigh!. So keep that in mind!. Keeping your weight under control is a life style change!. Smaller portions of Food and Lots of activity- walking bike riding swimming exercise Drink a full glass of water 15 minutes before each meal and you will fill up quicker when you do eat!.Check out a book at the library for Weight Watchers it is a very healthy life style change;Www@Answer-Health@Com

At your young age you need plenty of animal protein so the Atkins diet would probably be ideal for you as it includes all animal protein!.

YOU HAVE TO EXERCISE FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS EVERY DAY!

HAVE A BALANCED DIET!. FOR EXAMPLE, EAT BREAKFAST AT 8, LUNCH AT 12, AND DINNER AT 6 OR SOMETHING!.

IF YOU GET HUNGRY, DRINK WATER!.

DON'T SLEEP MORE THAN 7 OR 8 HOURS!.

ok!. first things first!. get a personal trainer and a nutritionest, when wanting to lose that much weight you have to be SAFE!. alot can go wrong especially if you get impatient!. If you cant afford either one, talk to your doctor about some thigns you can do!. also, make a chart with a list of goals, how to acheive them ect!. set up meals that are healthy to eat, talk to your parents about preparing healthy foods and helping you stay on track eating healty!. Once you have a good diet down, start excercising!. Cardio excercise is the best (running, swimming, biking) as it burns fat all over!. doing just crunches or somthing of that nature simply builds muscle, it does not burn fat!. Use the principle of overload (states that in order to lose weight the body must do more then normal physically) and gradually build up intensity in your workouts, have an excercise plan/chart!. Excericising like walking the dog or having a friend go along with you can make it much less tedious!. Diet, excercise, and DISIPLINE are the main things that will help you lose weight!. dont rush to lose weight, do it in a healthy and appropriate way!. remember it wont be easy, it will be extremely difficult, but have your family and friends support and help you and it will be easier!. Well I think it's totally about self-control:

Breakfast: integral toast and a 70-calorie yogurt

Lunch: Fruit (any kind, except banana) and a fish (not fried)

Snack if you get hungry: gum or 90-calorie diet bar

Dinner: Light soup (not a creamy soup, it has too much fat)
Or maybe a cup of special K or cheerios

Some other tips:
DON'T EVER DINNER AFTER 7PM, IT HAS BEEN PROVEN IN INVESTIGATIONS AND THAT HELPS A LOT, TRY TO DINNER BEFORE 7, I SWEAR IT'S AMAZING

I recommend you coffee in the morning, it gives you a lot of energy! (without sugar, or maybe splenda)

Another thing is to drink green tea twice a day, it burns fat and it's good for your health

And of course, do at least 50 abs per day
