Forget about the crunches!.

I have now one year without doing crunches, and my abs are like a stone and all ripped!.

Lower the bad fats of your diet, increase protein and healthy carbohydrates!.

If you have some money: Buy a fat-burning supplement!.

If you make of this a routine, your metabolism will change in about 4-6 months to a faster one, and you will be all ripped without even exercising that much, you will have a lean body!.

Cardiovascular exercises are excellent for this, but you will need to eat more since you will burn a lot of calories doing it, and you don't want to lower your other muscles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well there are two ways to lose weight!.

Quck - high cardio, running, low carb diet!. short-term!.
result : high fat loss, but typically lose just as much muscle as fat!.

Slower - Bodybuilding, high protien, mediocre carbs, long-term!.
result : moderate fat loss, muscle gaining!.

Theres no fast way to lose weight (other than water-reduction pills which only last for about 5 days) and not lose muscle!. Most guys don't relize how much weight you can lose just by sitting around with muscles!. Over a 6-week period you can sometimes build as much muscle to burn an addition 200cals+ a day (equivalent to jogging for 15mins)! The only problem with that is you have to eat alot and you will gain a little weight at first!.

If I were you I'd just start running every morning before breakfest about 20mins (proven before breakfest training increases daily metabolism), rest 2-3 days a week for say 3 weeks!. Try mixing in one day sprint-training (eg!. sprint for 1min, walk for 2, repeat 3x)!. Only do the sprint-training once a week since its pretty hard on you, but that day you'll typically burn 4x as many calories and jogging!.

After you get use to running I would consider throwing in a 3-day weight lifting routine!. Do every muscle group 3sets of 15, go fast try to keep your heart rate up!. You'll lose weight fastest this way!. (not so much build alot of muscle, but certainly tone)!.

Most importantly drink lots of water!. 16oz when you wake up and with every meal and between meals!. You can't have too much water (well and not make yourself sick)!.

Weight train, high protein, maintenance calorie level (about 15 times your bodyweight) and cardio exercise 45 minutes 3x per week!.

Do a variety of abdominal work 3x per week!. You'll have abs that show well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good old core workouts! There are many types of ways to do this, just do the ones that target the areas you want and running/jogging--it strengthens your abdominal muscles a lot! Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
