Why don't my pants fit anymore!!?!
Question: Why don't my pants fit anymore!!!?
Ok so I'm 5'3 and 103 pounds right now! This is the lightest I've ever been in about 6 years! I was on birth control and it made me gain water weight and be super moody do i got off it!. I've been off it for about two weeks now, and I feel better, but the weight is still there, and now none of my pants fit! But why do I weigh so little!?! could this just be bc my nody is changing bc I'm getting older!? I'm 20!. I've always been a size 3 at the very most and now even that is hard for me to fit into!Www@Answer-Health@Com

most likely you are either retaining water from sodium or increasing in body fat while losing muscle mass at the same time!. (you could also be having a protein deficiency intake, but is unlikely unless you are a vegeterian or in a third world country (also not likely considering you are on the internet))!. My best advice is to replace sweets with fruits and vegetables, white breads with whole grains, any sort of drink with water and nonfat milk (3 8 oz glasses), and stay away from salty foods (frozen foods, fast foods, preserved foods (like lunch meat, hotdogs, etc)!.
also don't worry so much about your weight as your waist size!. muscle is more dense than fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

weight is not an accurate measurement of how fit you are!.!.!.muscle weighs more than fat!! if you want to fit in your jeans lose the fat and gain muscle!.!.!.your weight will increase only slightly though but your jeans will fit again!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on where it is that your pants don't fit!. ;) It is most likely a change that your body is going through because of your age!.
I will be turning 22 shortly and while my weight has been consistent for over 6 years and I *look* physically fit, I found that in the past two years I have gone up two sizes!. It is extremely common for women in their early 20s to start gaining extra fat around their hips, butt, and thighs (as people with inconsistent periods usually find that they grow more consistent around this age, it is probably part of your body's natural 'preparation' for childbirth!.) As mentioned, fat weighs significantly less than muscle so a seemingly insignificant weight of fat can add quite a few cumulative centimeters to your waist line!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
