Running, losing wieght?!

Question:

Running, losing wieght?

Okay,I heard that in order to burn fat you must wokout more than 30 min. I run about 3-4 miles everyday. Sometimes It takes less than half an hour.
Does that mean that I'm not going to lose any wieght.
I weigh 118 pounds , i'm 5'1, && i'm 13years old.
I don't know,it seems like i'm not losing any wieght. I have been running 3-4 miles everyday for about one month and a half. I have also been watching what I eat.

Please help, thank you.

My mom told me that if you are lighter in weight, it will usually take longer to lose the weight. (why, I don' really know) maybe your building muscle, which by the way will make you gain weight because muscle weighs more than fat. and if that's the case, then it may take a little bit for you to actually start losing weight. But also, maybe you have a low metabolism. if someone has high metabolism, then it may seem like they are always losing weight or not gaining anything. People with a higher metabolism usually lose more weight (if they are normally active that is) because for them, it is real easy for them to burn fat. (if that makes sense)

my words for you are to just keep on excercising and watching what you eat and you should start losing weight.
