Should you have your meal before or after exercising?!


Question: Should you have your meal before or after exercising!?
I'm going to start a morning exercise routine, and I'm wondering if I should have breakfast before or after it!. My breakfast wouldn't be anything heavy, probably just a bowl of cereal, a granola bar, and a glass of juice !. !. !. I don't know much about nutrition, any help would be greatly appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cereal, granola bar, and juice!? What about protein!? You need protein, man!. Ok, you should exercise 1 hr after breakfast!. That way you will have provided your body the resources to draw upon for your routine!. Simple, right!? Now as for learning about nutrition!. My best advice is read up on diabetic meal planning!. I started using those guide lines to help my brother (he's diabetic, 3 yrs now) because he felt he wouldn't be eating "real" food!. All meals are prepared as if everyone in the house is diabetic!. And although I didn't really need it, thanks to that I dropped from 176 lbs to 161 lbs in like 3 months and I feel gr8!. Try it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It would actually be a good idea to have something before and after you work out!. Have a very light snack before you go out like the granola bar and take a water bottle out with you!. Then when you get home have the rest for your breakfast!. Try to stay away from high amounts of sugar and don't over eat before you go out or your gonna get sick!. You just need that bit of food to keep your engery up!. Just remember that breakfast should be one of your biggest meals of the day and add some whole fruit in too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pre-workout nutrition is very important before a workout!. It determines whether or not you have you can achieve your maximum potential during your workout in the gym!.

If your real serious into lifting weights and you want the best results then post workout nutrition is essential!. I'm sure you might have heard this a thousand times but gaining strength and muscle doesn't occur while you workout but after during the recovery stage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you don't want to exercise on an empty stomach!. The breakfast you describe would be fine to eat before your workout!. You need something to give you some energy!. A lot of people find it beneficial to eat a little before their workout to give them energy and to eat their meal or a protein shake after their workout to help give the muscles nutrients to rebuild and grow properly!. I completely agree with the first answer; I would advise you to have your breakfast first, to give you the energy, but make sure you have something afterwards aswell, preferably a protein bar or shake as protein is what your muscles use to refuel themselves and thus grow; your muscles grow during recovery rather than rest, this is why you should only work each body part once a week!. The process is called protein synthesis so, ideally, it would be advises to have something with a good amount of protein in!. hope this helps you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely after!. Also, watch what you eat!. If you are trying to bulk up / develop your muscle growth then go for foods containing protein (meats)!. Never exercise on a full stomach or even after you've waited a couple of hours as it will make you feel more tired and faster!. After a work out (usually after an hour), you will feel hungry anyway!.

A morning work out followed by a shower and then breakfast will really pick you up for the day!. I do the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some energy in the morning would be best before exercising and a light meal as you plan is good!. It would still be best to wait at least half an hour before you exercise with the light breakfast!. If you were going to do any heavy weight lifting then a regular breafast would be better and at least an hour wait before the exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

before, if you workout just after youve woken up your body is more likely to burn what it has in it since you have no food in you, that is the advantage of doing cardio in the morning!.

You should exercise after you eat your breakfast so that you have some energy, but make sure you exercise after 30mns from eating!. Drink lots of water after you exercise and if you get hungry just eat something small like a fruit or something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat something light perhaps a couple of hours before if you have time, otherwise something light and something a bit heavier after your workout!.

I dont recommend exercise on an empty stomach!.!.!.!.!.start with a fruit like banana or whey protein shake in the morning!.!.!.!.as your blood sugars will be low as you are fasting at night!.!.!.!.!.have 4 almonds too it will help for sure!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
