What gives you more of a workout on a treadmill?!

Question: What gives you more of a workout on a treadmill!?
Okay I've seen people do different things on a treamill, either run, walk, jog, or raise the incline on the treadmill and hang on to the bars and walk really fast uphill!. But what gives you more of a workout, and burn more calories, walking at a fast speed with your arms moving back and forth or hanging on to the bars of the treadmill with the treadmill inclined (as if you're walking up hill) and walking really fast!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
a combination of slow paced, jogging, then uphill, then walk and repeat a couple of times!. at least 40 minutes each time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The answer is:
D!. None of the above!!!

Step off the treadmill and go outside for your run! I practiced running only on a treadmill and was able to run very fast for an hour straight with no problems!. As soon as I started running on the pavement, I could only last 2 minutes before I was completely out of breath!. The treadmill moves for you, making the work easier!.

If you MUST use a treadmill (which I think it should never come down to, but you and I aren't the same person), never, ever, never, ever hold onto the bars!. If you're so tired that you hold onto those side bars, you are too tired to workout properly!.

Whatever you do, make sure to change it up!. Change the intensity, resistance, etc!. to make sure your body doesn't get used to it!.
