Okay...so fat burning zone or calorie burning zone?!


Question: Okay!.!.!.so fat burning zone or calorie burning zone!?
My girlfriend left me!. I'm getting back to the gym!. I'm at 21% body fat and that has to change!.

I need some answers on the best way to shed some pounds!. I do my cardio as soon as I wake up on a eliptical (I have bad knees)!. I'm guessing (and was told by my trainer) that the fat burning zone is best because It burns real fat!.!.!.plus im in "fasting stage" so there is nothing to burn except real fat!. But wouldn't working out in the cardio zone do the same thing but burn more calories!?

Come on people!. Give me some good reasons to agree with whichever way you think is best!. There is so much online about the "myth" of the fat burning zone!.

oh!.!.!.!.and while I'm on the subject!. I'm doing cardio (one way or another) 5-7 days a week and doing light lifting 2-3 times a week!. is this good for weight loss!? not trying to get pumped (yet)

lifing helps you lose weight a lot! Your muscles burn calories by just sitting there!. Say your arm muslces burn 10 calories an hour, thats 240 a day!. If you lift and get your arm muslces bigger, they will burn say 20 calories an hour just sitting there!. Thats 480 a day! this is why lifiting is important for weightloss as well!. So work as many muscles as you can!

And its not a good idea to do that fasting thing!. It slows down your metabolism if you don't eat as much!. Its better to eat just as much, but eat healthier foods!. an apple makes a great snack!

Also you will lose more weight if you do your cardio at night!. usually when you train in the morining its to gain muscle mass!. and at night its to lose weight!. I forget why this is, but its definantly a fact!. So its better to do your lifting in the morning!.

And just think! as you lift, your muscles are getting bigger (but you cant see them cuz the fat is covering them up) all the sudden your fat will be low enough for you to see your muscles and they will be a lot bigger by the time you lose the fat! so just like that, you look great!

The exact same thing happend to me, girlfreind dumped me, and i wanted to get a hot body so i could make her regret it and make it easier for me to get a new g/f!. Use that determination to fule u as you run or whatever!. Don't give up!!!!!

this is not bad!. the fat burning i think is true!. an expert on this at my gym told me when your at the point of sweating is when your burning fat and when your sweating like crazy its acutally eating on your musclesWww@Answer-Health@Com
