14 year old getting into shape?!


Question: 14 year old getting into shape!?
Im 14 year old male and weigh 145 LBs most of that is up by my height ( im 6,3 and havent hit my growth spirt) and i was wondering what is the best way for me to work out and get upper body strength and better cardio/ running because i can sprint but i cant run distance also i would like to work on my stomach a 6 pack would be nice lol but i think thats not gonna happen!. also im taking Weight training in Highschool so that may help and i also drink a lot of diet coke should i cut that out!? out post your advice here please!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, seriously, you DON'T need to lose weight or anything!. If you're 6'3" and only 145 lbs, you're skinny!. Maybe even a little bit underweight!. And Diet Coke has lots of aspartame in it, which can cause cancer, so you should stop drinking it!. And it doesn't matter if cancer runs in your family or not, you can still get it!. But if you want to build some muscle, go running, swimming, lift weights, etc!. And do crunches and sit-ups, too!. So just continually do those exercises for a while and you should be fine!. Though diet coke it technically better than regular coke if you are talking about sugar levels, it is not a very healthy drink!. Keep running, it is a great form of excercise!. As for a six pack, good old fashioned crunches and sit - ups are a sure thing!. Weight training wil help your upper body as will push ups and pull ups!. REMEMBER! Hey im 15 and had the exact same problem, even thought im not as tall as you, what i can really recommend so that you work your 6 pack, shoulders, chest and arms is a "Plank" its like a push up but you hold your self up, you wanna put your arms (elbows to wrist) on the floor flat and get in the "up" part of the push up and hold your self up it really works the Abdominal and Shoulder area and makes you strong everywhere not just armsWww@Answer-Health@Com

dont drink diet anything! those things lie, and make you obese and possibly diabetes type 1!!!!!!!!! way to much sugar! you prob need 2 lose just like, maybe 10 pounds!. but fo your height, ur perfecto! dont diet till you are leagally an adult!. because your body needs the extra fat so you can hit your growth spurt!. i am around your age andd have already hit most of it-im 5' 1" now!. if you look good, then you can be a runway model, because ur the regualted height! I heard somewhere that you should reduce your sodium intake to 500 mg daily!. The average person takes in 4,000 mg daily and reducing it can help you better train your muscles!. Also drink alot of water and keep exercising!.

well you should cut out the diet coke and drink plenty of water, if you cant live without your diet coke then just drink it sparingly!. as for the 6 pack, try doing crunches every morning when you get up!. the weight training in school will help keep you in shape too!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Stop drinking soda altogether!. Even if it is diet!. do not drink coffee until you hit college!.

Just play a lot of sports and be active, that's what my doctor suggested!. He said that appetite doesn't have a lot to do with it when you're a teenager, it's just how physically active you are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

im 14, I run, walk, lift, jump on trampoline (my neighbor's), play sports, ummm I'm a farmer so I take care of animals and all the other stuff associated!.!.!.lots of lifting!. lol u could also swim!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well a person is suppose to have 45 minutesof cardio each day but if ur not used to u shuld build urself up to tht time
n doin crunches with one of those excersing balls will really help ur crunches!.!.u can really feel the burn lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

jog daily, if you can get to a gym if not just jog early morning for about 1 hr until you get used to it then try every dayWww@Answer-Health@Com
