Do hotdogs and/or processed meat contain pig snout?!

Question: Do hotdogs and/or processed meat contain pig snout!?
I was watching "You Are What You Eat!." with Gillian Mckeith and she was showing this girl how to eat healthy!. Gillian is a master of shock tactics when it comes to food and since this girl loved to eat hotdogs, she brought out all these pig parts and disgusting hairy pig snouts, I was so disgusted, I got sick! I don't eat hotdogs often but I think she said "processed meat" has that disgusting stuff in it, so NOW, I can't eat bologna, sliced ham, hotdogs anymore! Yesterday I tried so hard to have a bologna sandwich but ended up almost vomiting, because now I can "smell" something in it!. I guess it's helping with my weight loss efforts but it's just sad cuz now I can't have a hotdog for 4th of July weekend at the fair, LOL!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I HOPE TURKEY DOESNT! lol have a great 4th of July!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Someone once told me that the processed meat is all of the extra stuff, so pig snout *may* be in there!. Yuck!

I don't eat red meat - instead I eat turkey franks so I'm not sure what is in those !. !. !. They are actually very good - try them for the 4th!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Considers the brand!. Typically skin and thus snout is turned into fertilizer and not "by products" that is stuffed into hot dogs!. This is mostly an urban legend that was started by anti-Zionist types to make kosher hot dog makers look bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Processed meat products are basically slaughterhouse floor-sweepings!.!.!. everything from the mooer to the pooer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They probably do!. If you have a hot dog make sure you put some mustard and relish on it so it looks like big pig boogersWww@Answer-Health@Com

What I found from researching:

"All hot dogs are cured and cooked sausages that consist of mainly pork, beef, chicken and turkey or a combination of meat and poultry!. Meats used in hot dogs come from the muscle of the animal and looks much like what you buy in the grocer's case!. Other ingredients include water, curing agents and spices, such as garlic, salt, sugar, ground mustard, nutmeg, coriander and white pepper!."

If the label says "all pork" or "all beef" then they are required by the USDA to use only the normal parts

If the label says "variety meats" or "meat by products" then stay away, those are the ones that could contain parts you dont want to know about

As for the fair, you have to take your chances since you dont know what they serve, unless you ask them for their packagingWww@Answer-Health@Com
