Question: Can i be anorexic even if i'm not @ an anorexic weight!?
my bmi is 20, which is on the low side, i'm pretty sure!. all i think about is food and limiting my intake, i usually only eat 900 cals a day which also is low, but i just refuse food!. eating doesnt make me feel good about myself!. i constantly compare myself to supermodels, to the point where my mom thinks its sickening!. i never feel good, always lightheaded!. always feel the need for working out!.!. i always see myself as "fat" and i'm not confident with my look!. sometimes i'm so depressed i go to cut my wrist!. i know its not good to do, but i cant not!.!.!.!. i just hate this and if i don't count calories my whole life falls apart because i cant get it together!.
plz help and dont be discouraging plz

No, but if you keep this whole 900 calorie thing going maybe!. This might help:: I was working at a magazine place, and yet me tell you nothing is real! they take a regular girl off the street put lots of make up on her and hair product then take a picture!.!.!.

BUT THATS NOT IT! They also animate her!.!.!. ( make her eyes bigger move sholders down shrink waist ect)

Just eat lots of avacodoes! ; )

You might want to go see a doctor, because I don't think that is heathly!. Be happy with who you are and stop comparing yourself to supermodels!. Eat what ever you want, and stop worrying about whether you're going to gain weight or notWww@Answer-Health@Com

uhm , i used to go 4 days without eating at a time
and i never considered myself anorexic!.
and i had thoughts like you did!.
i also have scars!.
but i never said anything to anyone!.
so i clearly think ,

my sister had an eating disorder, apparently
she wasn't an anorexic weight, she was about 135 pounds
she said she had an eating disorder
but she ate a lot
and i know she didn't throw it up
because my room is next to the bathroom

to be fair i just think she was exaggerating :S

anyway, for you
go see someone about how you feel!.
parents, a best friend!.
get a shrink
someone who you can talk it over with
someone who can persuade you that the path you're taking to lose weight is not the right one!.

thankfully i've never had an ed, because whenever i diet i cut out fatty things from my diet and excersize more, the right way to do it is to eat a little bit of everything, protein, carbs, etc!. your body even needs a little bit of healthy fat to work - cushioning, warmth, etc!.
the best thing to do in a diet is to cut out the majority of fatty or sugary things you eat, such as chocolate/fizzy drinks
drink lots of water, eat lots of fruit and veg, and meat, chicken, etc!. excersize! run for an hour or less a day, maybe join a sports team!? gymnastics, netball, basketball!? get a puppy to take on walks or dogwalk for people - excerize and money (;

it clears up spots, slims you to a healthy weight, and you dont feel lightheaded and dizzy - you feel very healthy!.

Turn all the junk food in for healthy snacks, like every fruit and vegetable!. Be sure you atleast eat three times a day, and coming from this past experience, eat more at breakfast, it'll fill you up, plus, you'll have energy!. Start off with PLAIN oatmeal, about a whole bowl, a fruit, like, banana or orange, or a few strawberries!. And big glass of water, and a piece of toast with a spoonful of peanut butter!. For lunch eat a big bowl of salad, but with vinegar for dressing (0 calories) and banana peppers, or green peppers, red peppers, and a piece of low fat cheese!. And for supper eat a piece of fish, and beans!. You'll have eaten ABOUT 1,000 calories, and plus you'll still lose weight, and feel good! Remember not all models are skinny!. And now a lot of them are becoming fuller, due to regulations!. Stop worrying about what they look like, and worry about your health!. It's dangerous!. Also, walk about a mile a day, to get AWESOME muscles!. Also you can be anorexic and not have an anorexic weight!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The eating issues is a small part of your problem!. You have an eating disorder, your depressed, you think your fat, your feeling lightheaded, and your a cutter!. You might have greater issues that only you know about and why you do this!. You MIGHT have some kind of "emotional disorder!." You mentioned you cut your wrist, I know a lot of Bi-polar people who are cutters!. One lady use to cut her rear end until she found the right medication!. I had a live in nanny who cared for my son but I noticed she was a cutter and would superficially cut her wrist!. I found out her father raped her when she was young!. I told her she would cut to release her anger and pain just like a bulimic barfs out their food to release some kind of pain as well!. She also confessed she would starve herself and was bulimic (vomit all her food)!. She seemed to be both Anorexic/Bulimic!. I contacted the County's Mental Health because I am not a psychiatrist or psychologist!. It is free if you have little or no income!. You might have to go through hundreds of medications but you might need this!. Contact the Mental Health Department in your County and State you live!. Most are free services!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can be an anorexic at any weight!. It sounds like you have an eating disorder, which often starts with the kind of thoughts you are describing!. Feeling fat (even when you're not), comparing yourself to unrealistic ideals (the models), obsession with food (counting calories, restricting your diet--it's generally not healthy to go below 1200 calories a day for a typical person)!. Your depression really worries me too!. Please seek professional help!. Talk to someone you trust and look for programs that will specifically help your eating disorder and body dysmorphia (the dissatisfaction you're feeling with your self-image)!.
