Question: Is it ok to do dumbbell workout after cardio!?
hey is it ok to od dumbbell workout after cardio cause right now everyday i do 30minutes cardio then 20minute dumbells if its not then can you tell me why

It certainly won't hurt you but I usually tell my clients that if they're trying to lose fat its most effective to do cardio after your strength training!.
When you strength train your body needs fuel in order to work to its max potential!. Therefore, it pulls fuel from what you ate to give you energy for your workout!. When your done lifting your body's burned through its fuel source and now must pull from stored fat in order to get you through your cardio workout!.
When you do cardio first it will take your body at least 10-15 mins to warm up then you only have 15 mins of actual serious calorie burn!. You end up spending your cardio session burning through your fuel source and then when you switch over to strength training you're out of fuel and your body ends up pooping out early!.
My advice is to do a 5-10 min warm up, spend your 20 mins on dumbbells, then at the end do your cardio!. You'll probably find that you can do a much more intense strength training workout this way and doing cardio at the end also helps clear the built up lactic acid out of the muscles and will help in your "soreness factor" the next day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
