Will doing crunches really flatten your tummy?!

Question:

Will doing crunches really flatten your tummy?

I have lost a lot of weight but would like to get the flat tummy. I still have that flub part under my belly button and wanted to get it gone. I wanted to know how many crunches a day I woul need to do to get it gone and about how much time it would take. Thanks!

What are some ab workouts that I can do in order to get the flatter tummy?

I do eat healthy and I also go the gym at least three times a week. I am pretty bad at sticking to doing abs, but I am also getting sick of whining about it, so I want to do something about it. I have already lost 50 lbs, and I am happy with the way I look everywhere else. I have lost so much that my ribs stick out, yet my tummy still is there! Ich..

Well, it's time for me to go to the gym. I do have an ab lounge, so tonight, I am going to use it! Thanks for all the help!

Its really hard to say. Considering you have lost a lot of weight, but had not done any previous ab workouts might be kind of why it's still there. You need to always need to continue to tone all part of your body when losing weight because if not you are going to have that loose hangy skin that whatever you do just wont go away. You also need to do some type of cardio. I suggest running. Get one of the big workout balls and lie flat on your back, with your legs bent holding the ball between them and roll up to it and grab it with your arms, retract and with the ball in your arms and come back up and put the ball back in your legs. Also do situp, these are usually felt more and some times people don't always do crunches right, and can't really feel them. Good luck.
