I heard that if you eat alot of healthy food and work out you will boost your matabolism!.

But how does building muscle make you lose weight!?

I wanna lose some but when i workout my legs get big muscles which are!.!.!.not attractive!.

That's very true!. Each pound of muscle add raises a person's basal metabolic rate by around 37!.5 calories per day!.
That will differ from person to person based on many factors!. What this means to you is that if you have more lean muscle you will burn more calories doing nothing at all!.

What you need to know about this is that you don't lose weight so much as bodyfat!. The scale might not move since muscle weighs more than fat but you will lose fat!. After all, the most important thing is looking good, not what the scale says!. The scale is not an accurate measure of progress!.

Your legs are getting big because you are giving them enough calories to build!.
