Question: I need to lose weight, fast! If i eat rice cakes and soup for a week, is that good!?
I am about 5'2 and weigh 130lbs!. I know thats average, but not in my school!. I need to get slim/ skinny!. Please don't tell me there is no way to get skinny fast, because there is!. I want to be able to look cute in a bikini AND surprise eveyone with how good i look when i get back to school!. PLEASE! Also, I know i will have to maintain a balanced diet after my rice cake and soup adventure!. PLEASE HELPPP!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best way to lose weight is to balance healthy eating and EXERCISEEE
I cannot tell you how many diets will not work if you don't exercise as well!.
When I say "exercise" I mean 15-30 minutes a day!. Walk, bike ride, game of tennis, doesn't matter!. Exercise is exercise!.
The diet you're thinking about going on doesn't sound very healthy!.!.!.your body will go into "survival mode" and turn everything you eat into fat!. :( Keep eating veggies!.!.!.fruit!.!.!.!.and proteins!. Definetly need those proteins!.
I'm sorry but, there is no way to "lose weight fast" without serious work and effort!.
Another thing you could try is keep a "Food Diary"--a diary of all the foods you eat in a day and a quick calorie count!. This will help you keep track!.

I believe that weight loss always starts from mindset!. This is the reason why i am able to lose 15kg in 2 months and maintain for 3 years straight, all the way till my pregnancy!.

1) What is my goal!? I want to lose __kg in __ time!.
2) Why do I want to achieve this goal!? (if possible, come up with 50 reasons)
3) If I do not achieve it, what pains will I have!? (come up with as many reasons as possible)
4) If I achieve it, what happiness will I have!? (come up with as many reasons as possible)
5) What will happen to me if I continue my current situation for the next 10 years!?
6) Then when do I want to take action!?

Some solutions I can offer you for diet:
Breakfast: eat fruits/drink fruit juice
Lunch: Less carbo, more veg and fruits, less seafood, meat and eggs
Dinner: Same as lunch but no solid food after 8pm!. Soups are great dinners

If you want to exercise to enhance the speed of weight loss!. Go for some light jogging or do something you enjoy like an aerobic class or kick boxing class!.!.!.

To be honest, you'll need to eat a balance diet!. If you eat alot of chicken (boneless, skinless chicken breast works best), ground turkey, fruits vegetables, salads, avoid access salt, cut down on starches like rice, bread, potatoes (even though full of Vitamin C along with the skin) Avoid sauces that are high in fat!. You'll be able to lose weight!. It'll also be easier to take the weight off slower!. This way, the weight will stay off better!.

Another tip, don't fry!. Bake if possible!. You can also cook the chicken in the microwave in a type of cookware with a colander!. where the fat and grease with drip down and your food won't be sitting in it when it's done cooking!.
