Question: Best way for a 15 year old girl to lose weight!.!?
ok i wiegh 135-140 pounds and i would like to lose about 10-15 pounds basically to weight 120!. What are the best ways to do it!.!.!.!.

i also want to get rid of my tummy and make it flat and also make my legs look thinner!.!.!.!.!.!.

plz help diet and excercise suggestions would help

Ok, my advice for you would be!.

First take everything slow! If your trying to lose more than 1-2 pounds a week, well it just wont happen!. Which by what you said you have decided to lose a realistic amount in a realistic time period!.

Secondly, Go for about 30-45 min walks a day! Try and walk where you have to use more energy, (i!.e!. walking up hill) the reason why i say walking as oppose to running is becasue running for a long enough period of time to make it worth while is VERY difficult and your likely to just give up where walking burns a large number of calories anyway!. These walks along should be enough to help you reach your goal, but if your really commited try working on building up to jogging each day (i!.e!. try jogging for 5 mins one day, then 7 mins the next and keep working on that trend till you can jog a full 30 mins!)

Thirdly, Diet!. Remember diet doesnt means 'cold turkey'!. Eat a large range of foods, (i mean come on, i bet ur friends who are the kind of weight you want to be eat junk right!?) Try and eat as healthy as you can!. BUT TREAT yourself every now and then! For example, you can have two chocolate biscuits a day and that's IT from the junky food groups, (this way you less likely to binge eat, and two biscuits is NOT going to ruin your diet)!.

Next, tell you parents! (and friends aswell if you feel you can as they will offer morel support)!. Say you want to lose weight, you may feel stupid doing this but if they know you really want this, then they might start buying healthier foods for your school lunches, dinner, snacks etc!.

Lastly, BELIEVE YOU CAN DO IT and you WILL!!.
