What foods actively speed up the metabolism?!

Question: What foods actively speed up the metabolism!?
Instead of just increasing it while eating, what foods actually contain chemicals that increase the metabolic rate!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
They say that eating foods that are spicy activate the metabolism and make it work faster, but for the most part, I think the only way to keep your metabolic rate up is to have a lot of active body tissue (active body tissue is muscle, for reference!.)

Each pound of muscle burns 60 calories a day, and each pound of fat only burns 5 calories a day!. When you add this up, it's quite the difference!.

Exercising will boost metabolism, and weight resistance training will build muscle which boosts the metabolism even more!. Eating small meals 4-6 times a day will boost your metabolism!. Eating very little will slow your metabolism, if not put your body into starvation mode (where if you eat anything extra, it gets conserved as fat!.)

Another thing to consider is negative calorie food!. In concept, negative calorie foods burn more calories than they give to the body; such as celery, cucumber, etc!. If you google 'negative calorie foods' a list should come up!.\

I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

More important are foods that slow it down!. Red meat is a killer!. Eat leaner meats and you'll have less strain on your digestive system and a quicker metabolism!. Always think light!. (Like green veggies over potatoes for example!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
