Weight loss, 1500 calories a day?!


Question: Weight loss, 1500 calories a day!?
So I am 212 pounds, and I have been eating 1500 calories a day (a little less usually by like, 100 calories) and usually around 30-40 grams of fat!. I am not really that active, but I work on my feet!. How much weight will I lose a week!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your basal metabolic rate is probably somewhere around 2500 calories (that would be my guess on the lower end, about 12 cals per lb) so if you are only eating 1500 you will be have a 1000 calorie deficit everyday which will mean you will lose a minimum of about 2lbs a week (each pound is equal to 3500 calories)!. Your calories are way too low for a girl your size!. You are gonna go into starvation mode where your metabolism slows down and begins eating muscle (which makes you flabbier)!. You should be at 2500 for safe, effective weight loss!. Because you probably aren't carryingm a fair amount of lean mass you could probably cut that to 2000 and still be okay!.

I don't know if you understand how the metabolism works but it is physcially impossible to lose more than 2 lbs of fat per week!. Yes you can lose more on a scale but that is what causes yo-yo dieting and flabby flesh!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to cut down the fat intake to 20 -30 grams & start doing some sort of excersise!.Working on your feet,really doen't help,becauce your body is already use to the slight activity that you are having!. You need to get out & go for walks!.a mile or so 3 times a week!. Then add some strenghth traing excersise to it!. It'll really increase your weight loss that way!and if you cut the diet down to 1000-1200,you should at least be losing 2-3 lbs!. a week!.(At first maybe even a little more!)try to eat a balanced diet& having small meals more oftin throughout the day!.
