Know any healthy snacks while trying to stop smoking?!


Question: Know any healthy snacks while trying to stop smoking!?
Here is the thing I have tried to stop smoking twice before!. Both times I started back because of the weight gain!. I have worked too hard to lose weight just to gain it all back!. This time i don't care if I get as big as my doorway!. I will quit!. Tomorrow is my quit date and i want to go shopping tonight for healthy snacks!. I know all the obvious ones!. Such as fresh fruits and veggies!. But i need something more than this, my regular everyday food will not replace my need for a cigarette!.
does anyone have healthy recipes for snacks!?

I am not big on cooked veggies, corn and green beans is about it, and i hate onions and peppers!. anything else is great!.

For me, it was the raw veggies that you already know about!. Carrots, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes!. I would make a dip to go with them!. And LOTS of ice water!.

Why not increase your exercise too!? Maybe a step class!? Spin!? Make sure it is out of the house!.

Remember to breathe deep if you feel edgy!. Make sure everyone around knows that you are quitting so they can cut you slack, but remember that quitting is no excuse for bad behavior!.

Carry your gum or keep your patch at the ready!. You've been thru it before!. You know what to expect!. You know that at first you want to smoke ALL of the time, then it starts to lessen!. Within a week, you only want to smoke 90% of the time!.

It's been years for me now!. I still want one, but when I slip, I get a headache and sick to my stomach!. When I think about the sick feeling I get, the urge fades!.

Two things helped me, gum & sugar free lollipops!. I kept lollipops every where; the house, car, and my purse!. When ever I caught an urge, I sucked on a lollipop!. If you want to try a stop smoking aid, Commit Logenzes work pretty well!. They don't taste the best, but really helped me in the first couple of weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

lol I understand what you are going thru, I got into fitness after I quit smoking!. I started walking and the rest is history!.

thats what my uncle did!.
or chew gum!.

your mind stops craving the ciggs!. after a while, so now it's up to you to stop craving the food as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I snack on unsalted Peanuts and even the granulated peanuts!. I'll also eat rice cakes, yogurt, and if you must eat crackers then look at Wheat Thins ( I think they are baked not fried)!.
Popcorn !.!.unsalted unbuttered is another of my snacks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
