Exercise with a broken foot???!

Question: Exercise with a broken foot!?!?!?
Can anyone suggest some exercises that I can do while my left foot is on the mend!? I literally cannot stand on it or walk!. In the past week I've gained 4lbs and I have watched what I've been eating because I knew I was going to have an issue with not being able to burn as many calories!. Any suggestions would be so helpful and appreciated!. Thanks!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, if you've watched what you ate there is no way you gained 4lbs!. You need to stay off the scale, especially with a broken foot!! I would think you have some kind of wrap or cast on it which would make you a bit heavier on the scale!. (Are you sure your foots not sprained!?!?!?) Also scales are always NEVER 100% accurate so it's best not to look at it everyday!. To be honest, I think it's all in your mind!. Sometimes I weigh 10lbs more in an hour, I check it again and I weigh 10lbs less!.!.!.!.!. So I just stay off of scales to avoid frustration!.

But you can do incline crunches, leg extensions(requires mostly leg muscles), leg circles, arm extensions!.!. I would take your crunches, and go walking!. Walking on crunches will burn calories!.!.!.!. Stretches, light yoga!.!.!. My favorite - shadow boxing!. This is your best bet!. Sit on the floor and pretend to be boxing something!. Throw punches, duck, lean back!.!. Probably your BEST source for burning calories with a broken foot!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I recently had a broken toe !.!.!. I was worried but I kept on doing my upper body weight work outs!. After a week I was able to do the exercise bike !.!.!. I hate it but it was something!. Also things like cardioglider or whatever type of rowing machine your gym might have!. Within a couple of weeks, with my boot on, I was able to kickbox again!. Its been two months and I'm running 4 miles a day and can even do lunges again!. Hang in there, just do what you can!. The mending will come quickly and you will soon be back into your routine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
