Extreme weight gain?

I've always been somewhat overweight but i managed to lose a lot of it and maintain it for nearly 1 1/2 years. Now my weight has increased significantly, partly due to stomach/gastric issues which meant i was constantly hungry (but I did try to keep it down by exercising more)... Ive gained a lot over the last 3 months but in the last 2 weeks i just literally ballooned... so much so that if you compared photos 2 weeks ago and now youd see quite a big difference.
Is it possible to get some of that weight off in 2 weeks and fit back into my clothes better? All my clothes are tight now but i feel it's so pointless to just get out and buy a whole new wardrobe...

Hi,
